Vision & Mission

Our vision is to transform space technology into accessible national capability for Saudi Arabia and the wider Arab and African regions. Our mission is to merge AI, Earth Observation, IoT, and edge processing to deliver actionable, real-time intelligence for agriculture, energy, urban development, industry, and defense — in full alignment with national transformation goals.

Founder’s Story — A Life in Technology

Our founder’s journey began at 18:

witnessing the birth of the commercial internet, championing early dial-up access, introducing digital lines, distributing broadband and mobile devices, and building technology operations across multiple countries. That journey forged a simple belief: the next frontier is space, and the Arab world must not watch from the sidelines. Horizon is the instrument of that belief — headquartered in Riyadh, operating Cairo and Istanbul branches, and uniting experienced engineers with young local talent.

What We Build

GeoMine AI Analysis & Reports

Multi-sensor satellite imagery analysis (optical, radar, thermal and hyperspectral) for reports on mining exploration, agriculture, groundwater and urban development. Deliverables include change detection, classification, vegetation and palm-health assessment, and forecasting.

Edge & IoT Integration

Satellite insights fused with ground sensors for near-real-time operations on farms, grids and remote sites.

Data Sovereignty & Security

Local processing and storage options inside Saudi Arabia, designed around national data-governance and cybersecurity requirements.

5-Year Space Roadmap

Imagery and analytics today → Saudi ground station → local assembly → an AI-enabled small satellite.

Why It Matters Now

Saudi Arabia is accelerating digital infrastructure, giga-projects, food and water security, and environmental accountability. Earth Observation with AI gives ministries and enterprises what field teams alone cannot: early warning, wide-area optimisation and independent verification — reducing waste, improving safety and making sustainability measurable.

More about Horizon Satellite

Talent, Internships & University Collaboration

We run summer internships, research projects, and joint labs with universities in Saudi Arabia and Egypt (remote/onsite). Tracks include remote sensing, ML modeling, geospatial engineering, and secure data operations. The goal is simple: train national talent that can run missions, not just run software.

Sustainability & Responsibility

Our sustainability pledge: data must serve people and planet. We monitor vegetation, water stress, desertification, emissions, and land-use change. Our responsible-AI policy enforces privacy, sovereignty, explainability, and human oversight.

What is Horizon Satellite?

A Saudi-licensed, foreign-invested Earth Observation company (capital SAR 1,000,000) with branches in Cairo and Istanbul, delivering satellite imagery analysis and decision-ready reports.

What does Horizon deliver?

Satellite imagery analysis and reports for agriculture, energy, cities, industry and defense, with local data-processing options and a five-year plan to launch an AI-enabled small satellite.

USE CASES

Proven in the Field

Hyperspectral satellite analysis of a ~772-feddan palm estate (NDVI, GNDVI, SAVI, water-stress and density mapping). It revealed that only ~20% of the land was actually planted — giving the owner a precise baseline for expansion and irrigation planning.

Date-Palm Estate Health Assessment
Agriculture · Siwa Oasis, Egypt

AI-based geospatial analysis supporting a cement-sector operator in raw-material exploration and quarry site management — fully remote, with no field visits, cutting exploration time and cost.
